Aadhar for Minors, Nris And Forigners

Aadhar card is for all citizen and residents of india with free of cost,Including NRIs and resident foreign nationals,without consideration of their citizenship.The procedure applying to Aadhar is same for any Foreigners and NRI's.They can go to any Aadhar center in India for apply to Aadhar card. Person who is applying for Aadhar need to satisfies the verification process laid down by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). Any foreign citizen who is living permenantly in India can apply for Aadhaar. Aadhaar card is meant for establishing unique identity of residents of India. It has nothing to do with a persons citizenship nor can Aadhaar card be used as proof of Indian citizenship.Forigners or Nri's who are living continuesly more tha 6 months in india can apply for Aadhar card. 1.Identity proof 2.Date of birth proof Identity proof means they can submit greencard or a similar document,If they want to apply for Aadhar,they need to submit Identtity proof. Birth certificate also manditory for Foreigners and NRI's,They should submit birth proof. Aadhar for Minors

Governemnt linking aadhar to mobile and pan etc,So people knowing how Aadhar is important,but it is not manditory for children,If u want to apply,you can.Having aadhar is useful from childhood,Upcoming days of education,Aadhar is used for some scholarships,Resident of Noida saying 2.5 years old children should have Aadhar,Because schools asking ID proof while joing into School. Currently , bank accounts openings for children,they asking guardians Aadhar,birth certificate for children.If children want to apply Aadhar,They need to got to Aadha center and fill out form and submit. Age is less than 5 years ===============================

1. For children below 5 years, you just need to go to the enrolment centre, fill out the enrolment form and submit the copies of child's birth certificate with your own Aadhaar card. Make sure you carry the originals too to the enrolment centre.

2. If the age of applicant is less than 5 years, no biometrics will be recorded, only photograph is enough.

3. In this case, child's Aadhaar will be linked to the UID of his parents.Those children dosenot need biometric of ten fingers,iris and face photograph.

4.In this situation parents should have Aadhar. Age is greater than 5 years


1. For children above 5 years of age, fill out the enrolment form, and submit the copy of birth certificate and school's identity card or a declaration on the letter head of the institution. 2. Their biometrics of ten fingers, iris and facial photograph will be recorded at the time of the enrolment and the procedure will be repeated again when they turn.

3.UIDAI has not classified Aadhaar as as Aadhaar for Adult or Aadhaar for child. Citizens can apply for it and obtain it at different ages. . However, if you have got an Aadhaar card before 15 years of age then you are required to get your photo and biometrics recorded again after turning 15. After that you normally do not need to repeat the process. If at a later stage of your life you face a problem (such as finger prints not matching due to old age or other reason), then you can get it updated.
